You are minutes (10 - 15) from Asheville, Sierra Nevada Brewery, The Airport, and many other amenities. HOWEVER, as there is no land developed around the property you are in a natural environment. There are bears and other wildlife that you may encounter. We will provide information to make sure you're wildlife wise but please remember that you're in a wilderness area tucked right in the middle of a metro area. We regularly have delivery vehicles, front wheel drive sedans, and just about any vehicle you can imagine come up the drive. While it is gravel, it is a gradual incline and pretty easy going. **Weddings and special events are allowed. Guests counts need to be approved and additional rules may be added to accommodate you and your guests for your special life event.**

We allow weddings and special events. Please make sure to have these approved with the host additional fees may apply. Security cameras are located at the back door, front door, and entrance. These record and can be accessed remotely. This is to keep an eye on wildlife activity when the property is vacant. **A security deposit or damage waiver is required. This will be after your booking is confirmed. $125 damage waiver covers up to $5000. Or guests can choose a $5000 damage deposit. This help protect you and all of your guests from unintentional damage to the property for a worry free stay. **We highly encourage all travelers to purchase travel insurance. We can send a link to do so after the booking is confirmed. The company we recommend will reimburse 100% of any covered cancellation amount before the trip begins and 150% after you have started traveling. While we own the entire mountain top we do have a separate listing about 100 yards from the main house. If available this can be reserved with your reservation based on availability. Please inquire.

The property is located right on the boundary of Fletcher and Fairview within sight of Asheville. Literally, in this case you have an incredible panoramic view. There's a 2 mile private drive way. The driveway is not steep and can be managed in just about any type of vehicle even in winter. This house is one of 3 on the entire mountain, but you're right in the middle of the Asheville metro area, 10 minutes to Asheville Airport and Sierra Nevada Tap Room.
