There are bears and other wildlife that you may encounter. We will provide information to make sure you're wildlife wise but please remember that you're in a wilderness area tucked right in the middle of a metro area. We regularly have delivery vehicles, front wheel drive sedans, and just about any vehicle you can imagine come up the drive. While it is gravel, it is a gradual incline and pretty easy going.

Security cameras are located at the back door, front door, and entrance. These record and can be accessed remotely. This is to keep an eye on wildlife activity when the property is vacant. **A security deposit or damage waiver is required. This will be after your booking is confirmed. $125 damage waiver covers up to $5000. Or guests can choose a $5000 damage deposit. This help protect you and all of your guests from unintentional damage to the property for a worry free stay. **We highly encourage all travelers to purchase travel insurance. We can send a link to do so after the booking is confirmed. The company we recommend will reimburse 100% of any covered cancellation amount before the trip begins and 150% after you have started traveling.

There's about a mile and a half private drive way. The driveway is not steep and can be managed in just about any type of vehicle even in winter.
